Common Betr issues
- Account locked from a previous version
Betr has gone through product reshuffles. If your old Betr account won't sign in, support routes you to register fresh on the new product when it goes live.
- Micro-market suspended mid-play
Microbets often suspend the instant a play starts and re-open after the result is graded — by design, not a bug.
- Geofence too tight
Microbetting is only live in a handful of states. The app will hard-block elsewhere even with location services granted.
Background
Betr was founded in 2022 by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, branding itself around bite-sized in-play wagers and a media-first acquisition strategy. After scaling back its sportsbook footprint in 2024 it pivoted toward a relaunch — the marketing site currently teases a new product as 'coming soon'.
